I’ve curated several shows over the past few years working with Modern and contemporary artists. Curating an exhibition is a very creative process beginning with deciding on the narrative, choosing the artists, works and finally bringing all of it together into one harmonious, art-filled moment.

One of major exhibitions titled “Reflections: Man and Nature in the paintings of Bireswar Sen” at National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi.

I find working in various mediums is just very satisfying…. Playing, as a matchmaker between my art and my clients thoughts is one of the most exciting things I get to do. I work in acrylic, mixed media and enjoy the unpredictability working over textured surfaces.

Research/ Documentation

As a researcher presently I am involved in research and writing on heritage, art ,architecture, visual culture, and design theory. Handled the Jatan Museum Builder Project for documentation of art objects of the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi. While exploring the art and architecture travellng around the world, I chose my maters dissertation topic for my research on the Art and Architecture of the Grand Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Abu Dhabi.

Traveller

Being an Art Historian travel has always been a part of my life. I love everything about travel…the planning, the journey, that first step, exploring, the food and culture! Got married 3 years back, and since then I been have travelling around with my husband, meeting artists and experiencing different art cultures across the globe.
